Warning: I wasted 45 minutes trying to find a specific taco truck in Denver

I was craving the carnitas from 'El Jefe's Rolling Kitchen' after seeing a friend's post, but their social media said they'd be at a brewery downtown. I drove there, no truck. Checked two other spots they sometimes park at. Turns out they had a last-minute engine issue and posted an update on a different app I don't even have. Has anyone else had a food truck totally ghost them because they only post updates in one weird place?

Honestly that's on you for not checking all their socials. Food trucks are small businesses, they can't post everywhere.

Did you catch that article about how people are getting tired of checking five different places just to get basic info? It feels like every business picks their own secret spot to post updates. I get that social media is free, but if I'm driving across town for your truck I shouldn't need to download an app I've never heard of. Your engine breaking down is totally out of your control, but telling people in only one place just makes everyone mad.

This is like when my doctor's office only texts reminders now but I still check my email. Things just scatter across too many apps.
