Found a 1982 love letter tucked in a copy of 'The Shining' from a library sale
It was from a guy named Frank to a woman named Carol, and he wrote about their first date at a diner called The Spot... she never picked up the book. Anyone ever find something that made you wonder about the whole story?

Ever find a note in a library book? I once got a cookbook with a grocery list from 1995 tucked in the back... eggs, milk, and a single rose written in the corner. Always made me picture someone planning a special dinner.

Actually, those notes just feel like litter to me. They're someone else's trash left in a shared book. It breaks the quiet feeling of a library when you find old scraps like that.
