Found a dried four leaf clover in a 1960s copy of Walden and it felt like a tiny treasure
After hunting through dozens of old library books for bookmarks last month, this one beat every receipt and shopping list I've ever found, has anyone else stumbled on something that felt deliberately left behind?

Four leaf clover beats my best find which was a 1950s postcard from someone's vacation to Niagara Falls tucked inside a copy of Moby Dick. It had a handwritten note on the back saying "wish you were here" with no return address or name. Felt like I was reading someone else's mail fifty years later. The clover feels intentional like someone wanted it preserved between those pages. Those little time capsule moments are what make thrift store book hunting worth the dust and paper cuts.

That postcard wasn't intentional, someone just used it as a bookmark and forgot it.

Friend once found a love letter from 1942 inside a tattered romance novel.
