PSA: $80 on a cheap respirator filter pack and I wish I just spent the $40 upfront on the good one
Got a bulk pack of P100 filters off Amazon for like $20 less than the 3M ones and they clogged up after two shifts in the iron pour, so now I'm back to the originals and telling the lads to not cheap out on lung protection, anyone else have a supplier you trust for filters?

That's rough man. Cheap filters are NEVER worth it when you're breathing in iron dust. 3M is the only brand I trust for particulate filters now. Stick with the real deal on lung protection.

Did you check the seal before you bought them? Sometimes the cheap ones don't sit right on your face no matter what you do. I got burned on a box of no-name filters once and my lungs felt gross the whole next week.

Man I bought a "deal" on air filters once and they smelled like burnt plastic right out the box.
