Rant: A client in Phoenix ghosted me after I sent the final files, so I spent a week chasing $1800.

I finished a big website redesign, sent the invoice and all the work, and then got total radio silence for seven days straight. What made it worse was I'd already turned down two smaller jobs to focus on their project. How do you handle a client who just stops replying after you deliver?

Man, did you try sending a final demand letter?

Actually a final demand letter can be a real game changer. It makes things super official and shows you mean business. Sometimes that piece of paper is the only thing that gets them to finally pay up. A phone call is easy to ignore, but a formal letter on their desk is a different story. It's the step right before you have to get lawyers involved, so it carries serious weight.

Honestly I'd just call them, letters feel too formal.
