Shoutout to my buddy who told me to charge a flat project rate instead of hourly for a website I did last month

Tripling your pay usually means going from 40k to 120k, not 60k to 65k.

My old boss always pushed hourly billing for web projects. After seeing grace_gonzalez46's comment, I tried a flat rate on a simple 5-page site last quarter. Ended up making almost double what my hourly estimate would have been because the client kept adding small tweaks that were easy for me. Totally changed how I quote jobs now.
