I heard a driver at the truck stop in Boise say 'real truckers don't need ELDs' and I think that's a dangerous take

I mean, after seeing the data from our fleet's switch to electronic logs 2 years ago, our preventable accident rate dropped by 15%, so maybe it's just me but I think fighting the tech that keeps people safer is a bad hill to die on.

Old school drivers know their limits" is a pretty strong statement. How exactly does being old school stop your body from needing sleep or your mind from getting tired? I've known plenty of seasoned guys who pushed too far because they thought they could handle it. Is it really about knowing limits, or just being more stubborn about admitting them?
