Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say he only trusts video reviews now

He was talking about a new fitness tracker and said written reviews felt like ads, but seeing someone actually use it for a week in a video changed his mind. Honestly, it made me think I've been skipping video reviews too quickly. Do you guys find video reviews more trustworthy than written ones?

Remember when my friend bought that blender from a sponsored review? It broke after two weeks.

Yeah, the "sponsored video review" thing is just as bad. They get the product for free and get paid to talk about it, so of course they're going to say nice things. You never see them use it for a full month before making the video. It's all just a quick demo to make it look good. Makes it really hard to trust any review online now.
