I'm trying to decide between Ace Garage Storage and Smarter home for a motorized ceiling lift. Both seem like good DIY kits. Does anyone have experience with either of these brands?

I really wanted to use the Smarterhome system in my old house. But I have high ceilings and their cable wasn't long enough. Ace offered an 18 ft cable so I went with their system and have been very happy.

I looked at both and went with Ace Garage Storage. The lifting capacity seemed a bit more reliable for my needs and the assembly manual was incredibly detailed. Highly recommend them.
I also chose Ace because I ended up buying a shed for the backyard from them at the same time. Everything arrived well-packaged and was easy enough to put together.
