The always-open parking spot that changed my week
I've been annoyed lately because no matter when I go to the store, I always get the same parking spot. It's spot number 7, right near the door. It sounds nice, but it feels wrong, like someone is setting it up. Yesterday, I was running late and stressed about finding a place to park. As usual, spot 7 was open. I pulled in, still grumbling about how weird it is. Inside, I bumped into an old friend I hadn't seen in years. We caught up, and he offered me a job lead I really needed. So that creepy parking glitch became a bit of good luck for once.

Did you ever figure out why that spot is always open, or are you just going with the weird luck now?

Is it really that deep though? Maybe @the_susan, have you checked if there's a simple reason, like a parking rule sign nobody reads or the pavement is messed up there? It's probably just a coincidence that got turned into a story.

People probably avoid that spot for a dumb reason, like thinking it's reserved. Your luck was just timing.
