Stumbled on a box of early 2000s design mags in my studio...

I was packing up my studio last week and found a box of graphic design magazines from back then. Flipping through them felt so different from browsing online portfolios today... you had to really sit with each page and let it sink in. Do you think having less access to inspiration actually made our ideas more original?

Read an article about creative constraints. Having fewer references forces you to problem-solve with what you know. The magazines probably made your own voice stronger.
