Polishing a bolt action and it started clicking in MORSE CODE. What on EARTH causes that?

My Remington 700 did the same thing after a deep clean.

You know, on some 700s, the trigger can go wrong if you don't get the sear set right on rebuild. It's not just about missing pieces, but how they fit. Like, if the trigger limit screw is off, you might get soft primer hits or nothing. Or the bolt shroud might not sit flush, leading to feed problems. Did you double-check the bolt timing when you put it all back?
