Saw a crew nail a complex dig with laser guides, totally flipped my view
Always said lasers were overkill for trench work. Stuck to my old markers. Then watched them lay pipe perfectly first try. No adjustments. I'm asking for that system on my next job.

Right? You hit the nail on the head, @rowane78. I spent all yesterday afternoon fighting with a new update for my editing software. It just would not do the simple thing I needed, and I was ready to throw my laptop. That feeling when it finally clicks is the best, but man, the road to get there is so annoying. It's like every new tool needs a personal sacrifice before it decides to cooperate.

That "personal sacrifice" bit is spot on. My friend's new camera software made him reinstall it three times before it finally worked.
