Appreciation post: the retired accountant who fixed my laptop screen with a guitar pick in Denver
He said he used to repair microfiche readers back in the 80s and just asked to borrow my phone flashlight, then popped off the bezel, reseated the ribbon cable on my old Dell that I'd been ready to scrap, and it's been working fine for 6 months now, so has anyone else had a random stranger solve a hardware issue with zero proper tools?
