Calendar alerts for my fiddle leaf fig saved it from my crazy work schedule

My fiddle leaf fig was wilting because I kept forgetting to water it during hectic workdays. I started setting calendar alerts on my work computer to remind me to check on it every Friday afternoon. What simple reminders do you use to keep your plants happy when work gets busy?

Wait, Mark was using VOICE NOTES instead of setting an actual reminder alarm? That's wild to me. @dakota_barnes12, tell your buddy his phone has a whole alarm clock and calendar app built in for a reason. I guess whatever works, but dang. Calendar alerts are the only way my plants get watered during my busy weeks, I'd forget my own head otherwise.

Calendar alerts are a lifesaver for plants, for real. My buddy Mark almost killed his snake plant because he kept missing water days. He started using voice notes on his phone to remind himself every Tuesday morning. Now it's thriving and even sprouted new leaves last month. He was SO relieved because that plant was a gift from his mom.

did mark ever try actual calendar alerts instead of voice notes? lol @dakota_barnes12 that's a pretty creative workaround though. snake plants are pretty tough but it's crazy how they bounce back once you get a routine down. using any kind of reminder is definitely better than just trying to remember.
