Rant: My reading focus was shot because of phone notifications...
I'd get into a book and... my phone would buzz every few minutes... So I started leaving it in another room when I read... How do you deal with that kind of distraction?

Honestly, turning on Do Not Disturb mode completely fixed that same problem for me.

Speaking of that, my friend was dealing with constant pings from her phone during work hours. She said it was impossible to concentrate with every app fighting for attention. After she switched on Do Not Disturb, the change was instant. She got through her to-do list without stopping every few minutes. Now she swears by it, says it's the only way she can get real work done.

Man, that's so true. Notifications are the worst sometimes, like they just never stop. I remember trying to get work done and my phone would light up every two minutes. Switching to Do Not Disturb made a huge difference, it's like you finally get some peace. Really helps with staying on task without all those interruptions. Solid advice for sure.
