Oh man, that "wild wrong cut" talk hits home. We once measured for a bay window seat three separate times with paper and every single sheet was off. The boss finally just eyeballed it and freehand cut the plywood with a skillsaw. Looked weird but it fit. Those old methods were just a different kind of stress.
