My recent jobs are all going ground-mount instead of roof-top
It's changing my truck setup and tool choices. Is this happening everywhere or just my area?

Hold on, you're saying the wire pulls are so long you needed a bigger tugger? That blows my mind. On roof jobs, we'd maybe run a hundred feet tops. Now with ground-mount, I've seen pulls over three hundred yards. It totally changes how you plan the whole run. I had to re-learn how to set up tension and guide wires. Makes you wonder how much more gear we'll all be hauling soon.

Long pulls mean way more hand signals between crew now.

Ground-mount is totally changing the game for tools, lol. We're using way more post drivers and concrete saws now instead of just lugging everything onto a roof. The wire pulls are way longer too, so I had to get a bigger tugger. Seems like clients want easier access for cleaning or they just have the land for it. Makes the whole job feel different from top to bottom.
