Can we talk about the shift in wind turbine materials?

Wind turbines used to be all about steel and simplicity, but today's models are more efficient with composites that aren't easy to recycle. What's your take on this trade-off?

What about the visual pollution from dead turbines that never decompose?

@spencer_lee77, turbines can be recycled (blades too, eventually).
