Come on @the_matthew, you're really asking that? The whole thing felt like a lecture on why our fun was wrong. That opening bit alone, where he spent ten minutes saying the word "artisanal," was a huge clue. Pretentious wasn't just my first thought, it was my only thought the whole time. How could you watch that and not see it? It felt like they were trying way too hard to sound deep about a burger. Honestly shocked you're shocked.

Totally, it went beyond just being try-hard into this weird vibe that enjoying simple stuff was somehow naive. Like the burger wasn't even the point anymore, it was a prop for their whole aesthetic sermon.
