Question about the new AI art generators versus the older ones
Everyone seems to love the latest AI art model, but I spent a week comparing it to the one from about a year ago, and I'm not fully convinced. The new one makes flashier images, sure, but the old one gave me way more control over small details, like the exact shape of a character's hand or the texture on a brick wall. I was trying to make a poster for a local book fair in Springfield, and the new model kept adding weird, extra fingers unless I wrote a paragraph of instructions. The older system, with its simpler sliders for style and detail, got it right in three tries. The hype is all about speed and wow factor, but for actual, usable work, I found the older approach was better. Has anyone else run into this, where a simpler tool actually does the job more reliably?
