I laughed at an AI joke and now I'm questioning everything.

I used to roll my eyes at AI jokes, but one about a bug in the code got me good. It was so stupid it was clever.

The one about the AI trying to make a grilled cheese but just endlessly toasting the same slice of bread gets me. That specific image of a confused robot holding a single, smoking piece of bread makes the whole "lack of common sense" thing click in a way a tech article never could. It stops being a concept and just becomes this dumb, sad, funny little guy.

@emmawood nailed it. That image is perfect for showing how clueless AI can be. I saw a video once where a robot kept trying to put a cap on a bottle but missed every time. It just kept stabbing the air next to the bottle, looking more and more frantic. Stuff like that makes the whole problem feel real, not just some tech talk. You end up feeling bad for the dumb thing even though it's just code.
