Just read that most AI image tools still can't draw hands right, even the big ones
I was looking at a breakdown on a tech blog called The Batch and it said a recent study found over 70% of AI-generated images have messed up hands. I always thought this was an old problem that was getting fixed, but the numbers show it's still a huge issue. Has anyone else seen this in their own work with tools like Midjourney or DALL-E?

Remember seeing a generated portrait with seven fingers last week.

Used to think the finger thing was just a funny mistake. Seeing that portrait made me realize it's a real sign the tech doesn't get how bodies work. Changed my whole view on how far off this stuff still is.

That seven-fingered portrait is a weird edge case. The models get hands right most of the time now, way better than a year ago. Focusing on the rare mistake misses the huge progress.
