My neighbor's smart fridge tried to order me 12 gallons of milk
It happened because his new AI assistant misheard 'check the weather' as 'order more milk' through the wall. Has anyone else had a home device get a little too helpful?

Watched my friend's robot vacuum trap her cat last week. It mapped the room while the cat was sleeping in a sunbeam and then just... drew a virtual wall around him. The poor thing was stuck in a three-foot circle for an hour until she got home. That thing is WAY too confident in its own plans.

That "virtual wall" thing is why I turned off all the smart mapping on my vacuum.

Oh my god, that vacuum gave that cat a time out! It decided the sunbeam was a naughty corner.
