Rant: my chatbot gave a customer a 40% discount and I only found out from the receipt
Last Tuesday at my shop in Reno, a customer used our support bot and somehow talked it into stacking two codes for 40% off a $250 order, and I didn't catch it until I was doing receipts that night. So now I'm stuck between people saying bots just need better guardrails and people saying a human should sign off on any discount over 10%. Where do you all land on this, is it a tech problem or a trust problem?
