Saw a self-checkout camera at a Kroger in Dayton that flagged me for putting back a $3 item
Stopped at the Kroger on Siebenthaler Ave in Dayton on my route home and watched the screen flash a little red box around my hands when I picked up a $3 candy bar and put it back on the shelf. The thing tracked my every move like I was on a game show. I get that stores are trying to stop theft, but flagging me for changing my mind about a Snickers seems like a lot. Has anyone else run into these camera systems, and did it ever flag you for something totally normal?
