That AI art tool ate my portfolio site last month

I uploaded 40 pieces to an AI upscaler and it rewrote the metadata on all of them, so every file came back mislabeled and useless. Has anyone else had a batch tool silently corrupt their assets or did I just get unlucky with that one service?
