Used to hate AI art until I saw what it did for my product photos
I run a small Etsy shop selling custom mugs out of my apartment in Austin. For two years I was spending every Sunday taking photos with a lightbox and editing them in GIMP, maybe 4 hours a week. Then last month I tried an AI background generator to replace my messy desk shots. It cut my photo time down to 45 minutes and my sales actually went up 15% because the images look cleaner. I still tweak the prompts a few times to get it right, but the results are way better than my old setup. Has anyone else had luck using AI tools for small biz stuff like this?

Those AI pics just make everything look fake and the same now.

Did you mean I gotta start lying about my "home studio" setup on the blueprint just to keep up with these AI photos? Honestly, I used to spend half a day wrestling with GIMP layers and still ended up with a thumb in the shot half the time. Might have to borrow that idea for my own side hustle pics.
