The parchment paper trick I fumbled for way too long
I kept having my air fryer basket get caked with cheese and sauce from cooking frozen burritos, and scrubbing that thing after every single meal was driving me nuts. It took me like three weeks of scraping and soaking to finally figure out you can just cut a round piece of parchment paper to fit the basket, punch a few holes in it with a fork, and set your food right on top. The paper stays put because the fan holds it down, and cleanup goes from a 10 minute ordeal to just tossing the paper in the trash. I even bought a pack of precut 8 inch rounds at the grocery store in Des Moines for about $4, and they work perfectly with my 5 quart basket. Has anyone else been stubborn about using parchment and finally caved, or do you use those silicone liners instead?
