Finally got the hang of frozen chicken wings in the air fryer

For the longest time I would bake wings in the oven at 400 for like 45 minutes and they'd come out soggy or dry. Last week I tossed a bag of frozen wings straight into the air fryer at 380 for 25 minutes, shaking halfway. Came out perfectly crispy without any oil or flour coating. I used to think you had to thaw them first but apparently you don't need to at all. Has anyone else found a frozen food shortcut that changed how you cook?

OH man YES! I had the EXACT same thing happen. I used to thaw wings and bake them and they'd still be floppy. Then I threw a bag of frozen party wings in the air fryer at 370 for 20 minutes and they came out golden and crunchy on the outside, juicy inside. No flipping needed even. Now I do that with frozen chicken tenders too. Seriously changed my lazy weeknight dinners forever.

Same here, 380 for 25 minutes with a shake has been my go to since.

That's exactly what happened with me too @the_lucas... I was always thawing them first and then trying to crisp them up and it never worked right. One night I was in a rush and just dumped a bag of frozen drums in the air fryer at 380 for 22 minutes with a shake halfway through and they came out better than any thawed batch I ever made. Now I do the same with frozen breaded chicken patties too, just toss 'em in straight from the freezer and they come out crunchy instead of that weird microwaved texture.
