I finally tested a $40 air fryer against my $150 one side by side
The cheap one cooked the chicken wings way crispier in 12 minutes flat while the expensive one left them soggy, so has anyone else found that price has nothing to do with performance?

Bet my cheap microwave makes better popcorn than those $500 ones too. Guess we're all just paying extra for Instagram-friendly buttons.

Didn't Consumer Reports just say cheaper microwaves actually pop popcorn better than the fancy ones?

Bought a $30 air fryer off Amazon after my $120 one died and honestly the cheap one works better for everything except french fries. The cheap one has a smaller basket but it circulates heat way faster because the fan is actually closer to the food in those compact models. Stick with it but keep an eye on the basket coating flaking off, had that happen after about 8 months with my last budget model.
