Just realized my air fryer has a defrost setting I never noticed

I've had this Gourmia air fryer for like 2 years and yesterday I was looking at the buttons while waiting for my fries to cook and saw a button labeled 'DEFROST'. I looked it up and apparently you can throw frozen chicken breasts in there and it defrosts them in like 12 minutes instead of waiting an hour in the sink. I tried it with some frozen thighs I had and it actually worked perfectly, no half frozen spots or weird warm edges. Has anyone else accidentally found a feature on their air fryer that you missed for ages?

Wait, yours has a separate defrost button? Mine just has a temperature dial and a timer. I'm jealous. I've been defrosting chicken in the microwave and it always cooks the edges. That sounds way better. Maybe I need to upgrade.

Ngl, that defrost button is overrated. It takes forever and sometimes still leaves cold spots. Just use the power level on yours - set it to 30-40% and check it every couple minutes. Works same as a defrost function without needing a fancy upgrade.
