My neighbor saw me making air fryer chicken wings and asked for my secret.

I was outside my apartment in Phoenix, and she walked by while I was tossing the wings in my basket. She said, 'Those look better than the ones from the bar on 7th Street.' I told her my trick is to pat them super dry and add a little cornstarch before the seasoning. What's your go-to tip for getting wings really crispy?

Nice. Do you bake powder on its own for a bit before you add the wings?

That's a solid technique for extra crispiness. Reminds me of a buddy who swore by leaving his wings uncovered in the fridge overnight before baking. Said it dried the skin out perfectly. Never had the patience to try it myself.

Oh man, that fridge trick is totally legit! I tried it once when I was really trying to impress some friends for game day. Left them on a rack overnight and the skin was like a potato chip. It’s a game changer for sure, but yeah, you gotta plan ahead. I’m usually too hungry to wait that long.
