Pro tip: frozen fries from a bag versus fresh cut potatoes in the air fryer
I used to just dump a bag of frozen fries in, thinking it was easier. Tried fresh russets last week, cut them myself, soaked them for an hour, and patted them dry. The fresh ones came out so much crispier and actually tasted like potato, not just salt. Has anyone found a good seasoning mix for fresh fries that sticks well?

Honestly gotta disagree on the fresh cut being better every time. That whole soak and dry routine is a huge time sink for a weeknight. A good brand of frozen fries gets you 80% of the way there with 10% of the effort. The crisp on some brands is seriously underrated. For seasoning, just a light spray of oil right out of the bag lets any dry rub stick pretty well.
