Question about preheating your air fryer for frozen foods vs fresh
Ngl I used to just toss frozen fries in without preheating and they always came out soggy. My neighbor saw me doing it and said 'you gotta let it heat up first, like 3-4 minutes.' Tried it last night with a bag of frozen hash browns and the difference was night and day. Does everyone preheat for frozen stuff or just me?

Preheating is just one of those small things that changes everything if you pay attention.

Wait, hold up! Are you telling me people actually skip preheating and then wonder why their stuff comes out uneven? I've seen people just toss food in a cold oven and I can't wrap my head around it. It's like pouring cold water into a hot pan and expecting it to sear. Preheating is the whole foundation of getting that first burst of heat that locks in flavor.

@elliot_johnson31 I'm right there with you, it drives me nuts too. I've had friends tell me their cookies came out flat and I ask if they preheated and they just stare at me. It really is the little things that make or break a recipe.
