Stopped by a garage sale last Saturday and the guy swore his air fryer made the best grilled cheese he ever had
He said he toasts the bread in the air fryer for 4 minutes at 350 before adding the cheese and then another 2 minutes, and I tried it myself yesterday and it actually came out way crispier than my stovetop method ever did has anyone else found a weird trick like that?

Honestly I read somewhere that putting mayo on the outside of the bread instead of butter gives it a way better crust in the air fryer. Tried it with a grilled ham and cheese last week and it turned out perfect, no sogginess at all. Ngl though my buddy still swears by preheating the air fryer for a full 5 minutes before anything goes in, says it makes the crunch way more even.

My buddy Rick has a 3D printer he uses to make perfect little silicone spatula scrapers for getting every drop out of jars, and it made me realize how people get weirdly creative with random kitchen gadgets in ways youd never expect.
