Tried air frying a block of tofu and it actually worked
I saw a video about air frying plain tofu and thought it would be a soggy mess. I pressed a 14 oz block for 30 minutes, cubed it, and cooked it at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, shaking halfway. It came out crispy on the outside and chewy inside, way better than my old pan-fry method. Has anyone else tried this and found a good sauce to toss it in?

Wait, you pressed it for a full half hour? That's some serious dedication. I just pat mine dry with a paper towel for like two minutes. I can't believe it actually got crispy inside too, mine always ends up kinda dry. For sauce, I just dump some bottled teriyaki on it after.

Seriously, a half hour press? That's wild. But the cornstarch tip is interesting, does it actually make the inside crispy or just the outside? I've always worried cornstarch would make it gummy or something.

Try a quick press then coat it in cornstarch before frying, that's what gets mine crispy inside without drying out like yours did, @mark_mitchell.
