Warning: Street fair food stall made me rethink my air fryer

A new fry place opened at our monthly street fair. Their zucchini fries were crazy expensive. I thought, I can make that at home. Got some fresh zucchini from the market. Tossed it in flour and spices. Air fried until golden. Now I skip the fair line and save cash.

Isn't it crazy how much they charge for that stuff? I did the same with those mini donuts.

At the county fair last summer, a bag of mini donuts was $8. I don't find it that crazy. They cook them on the spot in a special machine, and you're paying for that hot, fresh taste. The line is always long because people want the real deal. Making them at home never turns out the same, and it's a lot of work. For a treat now and then, the cost makes sense to me.
