A panel swap in a Sioux Falls motel made me start labeling every wire
I was doing a panel swap at a 60 room motel in Sioux Falls last month and found the old install had three zones crossed, so I spent 4 hours tracing wires with a toner instead of an hour swapping the board. Now I tag both ends of every wire before I even cut the old panel loose. Does anyone else keep a little label printer on the truck just for panel jobs, or am I overdoing it?
