Bought a $120 wireless keypad that lasted 11 months, now I'm back to hardwire
Installed a top of the line wireless keypad on a two story house outside Columbus last spring. Customer loved it until the battery died at 2AM and the tamper alarm went off, waking them up. I had to drive back twice to swap batteries because the model burns through them when signal strength is low. Has anyone else had wireless peripherals cause more callbacks than they save in labor?
