Flashed a panel and wiped all the zone labels, oops
Last Thursday I took on a service call in Austin for a house where the keypad was showing zones wrong. I figured a quick firmware flash would fix it, but the installer before me had only saved the config to the internal memory, not the backup chip. After the flash, every zone came up as blank numbers, had to rewiring labels by hand for 14 zones. Took me 2 hours to redo what should have been a 20 minute job. Anyone else had a panel where the backup save was skipped and you got burned? What do you check before you flash now?
