Just realized my tape measure was faulty during a sensor install
Now I have to redo all the mounting brackets because nothing lines up.

Man, that feeling is the absolute worst. You're just trusting the tool to do its one job. Had a level that was off by a degree once, and a whole shelf line looked drunk. That sinking feeling when you realize the whole foundation of your work is wrong... it just kills your momentum for the whole day.

Ugh, that's the worst kind of setback... it's not just the wasted material, it's all the time you trusted that stupid tape. The real killer is the mental drain of re-doing work you thought was already done right. That doubt creeps in and makes you second guess every measurement, even with a new tape. It turns a simple job into a total morale sink.
