Showerthought: I thought a client's 'haunted' motion sensor was just a bad joke
They kept saying it went off only at 3 AM, and I was ready to blame a draft. Then I saw their cat's toy, a little motorized mouse, set on a timer under the couch to run every night. Has anyone else found a pet setup that kept tripping a system?

Ever have a client swear their place is haunted? Found a pet feeder once that would spin on a schedule. Thing sounded like footsteps on hardwood at midnight. Scared the daylights out of the homeowner. Pets are sneaky little chaos machines.

Honestly, most "hauntings" are just bad plumbing and clever pets.
