Warning: My boss's push for fast finishes is ruining our system checks
Cutting the final review to hit a deadline just means more false alarms later.

Wondering if maybe the rush itself is the real problem here. I mean skipping checks to hit a date just moves the work, it doesn't get rid of it. Dealing with all those false alarms later takes way more time than doing it right the first time. A missed deadline is usually better than a broken system nobody trusts.

Look, in some cases getting to market fast is the only way to stay alive. You can patch things up after launch if you have to. Losing a big client because you were late hurts way more than fixing a few bugs.

Ugh, this is so true and it happens everywhere! I see it when people speed through yellow lights and cause huge traffic jams from near misses. Rushing just makes everyone slam on brakes and wait way longer than if they'd just slowed down at the right time.
