A quick chat with a painter in Toledo made me stop hating plastic welders
I was helping my buddy Mike with a bumper repair last week, and he said, 'You know, that plastic welder you hate is just a tool you haven't learned yet.' He showed me his technique on a broken tab, using a steady hand and the right filler rod. It held better than any epoxy I've used, and the prep was way faster. I guess I was just scared of melting the part. Anyone have tips for a beginner on which welder to start with?
