Dodge Charger door shell at a salvage yard in Reno taught me a trick
Last month I was pulling a door shell off a 2019 Charger at Pick-n-Pull in Reno and the bolts were seized something awful. I kept fighting with my 3/8 drive and a swivel socket, wasted almost an hour. A guy who worked there walked over and told me to hit the bolt heads with a brass punch before even touching the ratchet. Three sharp taps per bolt and they all broke loose in under ten minutes. Has anyone else used the shock trick on window regulators or fender bolts, or is it just a lucky hit?

The shock trick is honestly just basic physics that works everywhere. Same reason you tap a stuck paint lid or a frozen brake rotor before yanking on it. Sometimes the hardest part is remembering to stop brute forcing things and just give it a quick smack.
