Flood repair debate: pull panels and dry vs ozone treatment only
I just wrapped a water damage job in Tulsa where the owner wanted me to skip pulling the door panels and just hit it with an ozone machine for 48 hours. I stuck to my guns and pulled everything, found mold starting in the bottom of the passenger door. On a Civic from 2019 the ozone route probably would have masked it for a month. But the customer was pissed about the extra $150 in labor. Has anyone else had a call like this where the quick fix almost won out?

lol this is just like when people skip the primer on a paint job and act surprised when it peels. People always want the shortcut until it costs them double down the road, it's the same with everything from car repairs to lawn care. The worst part is they'll blame you when their quick fix fails even though you told them upfront.

Haven't we all got that friend who learned the hard way with their lawnmower?

My buddy @averymartin once spent 3 hours trying to start a flooded mower before admitting he forgot to check the gas. Nobody ever talks about how skipping the simple checks like the fuel line or air filter makes you feel dumber than the big mistakes.
