That $700 paint thickness gauge was worth every penny
I kept getting burned on used cars I was flipping, blending repairs only to find out later the panels had way more filler than I thought. Dropped $700 on a decent digital gauge last month and it's already paid for itself. Caught a Camry with 12 mils of bondo on the rear quarter before I even started sanding. Anyone else use one of these on customer cars before quoting the job, or am I just paranoid now?
