Vent: the prep station lighting upgrade that backfired on me

Swapped out my old fluorescents for LED strips in the booth last month, figured it'd be a no brainer... now every silver metallic I shoot looks like it's got tiger stripes under this light. Has anyone else fought with LED shadow patterns on final paint jobs, or am I the only one who should've just replaced the bulbs one bay at a time?

LED shadow patterns" are not your problem, bad booth setup and cheap strips are, and blaming the whole lighting tech because you didn't buy the right ones is backwards.
