Dropped a whole tray of muffins at the church bake sale last Sunday
Had to scrape them off the floor while Mrs. Gunderson watched, and now I always double check my grip on those flimsy cardboard trays.

Jump right into thinking about all the times we just assume something ordinary is gonna hold up, and it lets us down at the worst moment. Those skinny cardboard trays, flimsy umbrellas that turn inside out in a breeze, those cheap plastic bags from the grocery store that split open on the way to the car. It's like the world is full of stuff designed to barely work, so we're always one small step away from a muffin-flavored disaster. Makes you wonder if we've just gotten used to things that are made to fail on us.

Exactly what gets me is how this stuff works just long enough for you to let your guard down. Like you buy a pack of those flimsy trash bags and they hold for three days fine so you think \"okay this is fine\" and then suddenly you pick it up and the bottom just gives out. It's like they engineered the whole experience around a very short grace period. You're not supposed to notice the problem until you're already committed and can't easily fix it. Reminds me of those phone charger cables that look brand new but somehow stop charging unless you hold them at a specific angle. Makes you wonder how much we've learned to work around bad designs instead of demanding better ones.

Wait, Mrs. Gunderson watched the whole thing? That's brutal, she probably still brings it up at every potluck. Totally agree with @the_linda too, those trays are just asking for it.
